The Fleurieu Peninsula is accessed from Adelaide, approximately 45 minutes to McLaren Vale and 60-90 minutes to the southern coast dive sites. Adelaide Airport (ADL) receives direct flights from all Australian capital cities and international destinations. The main dive sites are accessed via the Southern Expressway and Main South Road, with Rapid Bay, Second Valley, and Port Noarlunga all within easy driving distance of Adelaide. Dive operators run trips from various departure points along the peninsula, and many sites including Rapid Bay Jetty and Port Noarlunga are accessible from shore. The peninsula is best explored by car, allowing divers to combine the diving with the outstanding McLaren Vale wine region and the charming coastal villages.
