The surface intervals between dives offer opportunities to enjoy the open sea environment and observe the granite rock islets from above water. Some operators arrange special seafood lunches featuring the day's catch prepared with traditional Brunei spice blends. The longer crossing requires calm sea conditions and is conducted during the dry season from March to September.
