Zadar - Pagnacco Wreck is a wreck dive site in Northern Dalmatia - Zadar & Kornati, Croatia, set in the clear, fish-rich waters of the Adriatic Sea. The Pagnacco is a small Italian WWII torpedo boat sunk off Zadar, lying at 25-40 m. Conger eels and macro life fill the structure, making it a rewarding Advanced dive. Its depth places it above the deepest wrecks but still requires good gas management. Visibility is usually good, showing the small warship clearly. The short boat ride from Zadar keeps it a convenient dive. It is a nice addition to the Zadar wreck scene alongside the Jadran and the 737. Conditions are typical of the Croatian coast: visibility generally runs from 15 to 35 metres, the current is low and the water temperature ranges between 14 and 25 degrees Celsius depending on season and depth. The marine life is classic Adriatic, centred on conger eel, small red scorpionfish, common octopus, with the full community described below for those planning a dive.
