Site Overview

Mikro Nisi Reef is a gentle, sloping reef off Kos that rolls from a shallow plateau to about 30 m, crossing sand, rock and seagrass that together form a perfect habitat for turtles, stingrays and a busy community of macro life. The site is sheltered and forgiving, making it a favourite for newer divers and for anyone who loves slow, close-up observation. Loggerhead turtles forage over the meadow in summer, stingrays half-bury in the sand, and morays and octopus watch from the rocks. With reliable conditions and a short boat ride from Kos Town, Mikro Nisi is a lovely half-day out and a great place to really look at the Mediterranean up close.
