Site Overview

Panormos Reef is a calm, colourful dive off Skopelos, where a gentle rocky reef rolls from a shallow plateau to about 22 m and is dotted with the soft corals and invertebrate life that make the Sporades so pleasant. The site is sheltered and forgiving, making it a favourite for newer divers and for anyone who loves slow, close-up observation. Octopus and cuttlefish are common, morays watch from the rocks, and nudibranchs freckle the algae. With reliable conditions and a short boat ride, Panormos is a lovely half-day out and a great place to really look at the Mediterranean up close.
