The wall supports moderate soft coral and sponge growth on the rocky face with grouper patrolling ledges and barracuda schools cruising above in the current flow. Trevally hunt along the wall edge while hawksbill turtles occasionally visit the rocky face feeding on sponges and invertebrates. The rare Napoleon wrasse sighting rewards patient observers at this productive natural reef site. "The dive boat departs from Kovalam for the 12-minute crossing to the wall location. Descend along the wall crest from 5 metres following the rocky face downward to your planned maximum depth. Swim along the wall face observing soft coral growth and sponge communities on the rocky surface. Grouper rest on ledges while barracuda schools patrol above the wall edge. Position yourself near the wall face for viewing trevally hunting in the moderate current. Hawksbill turtles may appear feeding on the wall face during the dive.
