"The dive boat departs Minicoy harbour for the 25-minute crossing to the submerged pinnacle location marked on GPS. Descend along the pinnacle face from 8 metres to your maximum planned depth observing the coral-encrusted walls teeming with fish. Dogtooth tuna patrol the pinnacle perimeter while grey reef sharks cruise the deeper base. Eagle rays appear in the current flow above the pinnacle crest while rainbow runners school in the blue water. The pinnacle's isolated position concentrates pelagic life creating a feeding station for the area's top predators. Ascend along the pinnacle completing safety stops on the shallow crest rich with tropical fish.
