The Anambas Islands are accessed via Letung Airport (LMU) on Anambas, with connecting flights from Batam (BTH) and Tanjung Pinang (TNJ). Batam itself has direct flights from Jakarta and other Indonesian cities, as well as ferry connections from Singapore. The flight to Anambas takes approximately 1 hour from Batam. Alternative access is via the ferry from Tanjung Pinang to Tarempa, though this journey takes 8-10 hours and is only recommended for the adventurous traveler.
