Site Overview

Baltimore and Cape Clear offer some of the most exhilarating drift diving in Cork, with fast currents sweeping walls covered in jewel anemones and seafans. Grey seals are frequent companions, dolphins pass by, and minke whales are possible at the surface. The clear Atlantic water and remote island setting make this a spectacular advanced site, best dived from Baltimore with a skipper who reads the tide. It is a true taste of wild Irish reef diving.
