Fenit Harbour and Tralee Bay hold a cluster of accessible wreck and reef dives centred on the SS Liban, the scattered remains of the German U-34, the Samson crane barge and good macro on the sandy bottom. Flatfish, scallops and edible crabs are common, with conger eels in the wrecks. Sheltered and easy to reach from Tralee, this is a practical site for training, photography and relaxed exploration, with history layered over a productive bay.
