Site Overview

Skellig Michael and Little Skellig are UNESCO World Heritage islands whose drama continues underwater, where steep volcanic walls plunge into the clear Atlantic draped in jewel anemones, gorgonians and a kaleidoscope of invertebrates. Grey seals patrol the rocks, blue sharks appear in late summer, and breeding seabirds fill the sky above. This is advanced boat diving at its most weather-dependent: trips launch from Portmagee and are cancelled as often as they run.
