Site Overview

The Secca della Madonna is the signature pinnacle of Lampedusa in the remote Pelagie Islands, rising into exceptionally clear Sicilian water where barracuda, tuna and groupers gather. Red gorgonians and amberjack cover the rock, and the southern location keeps the water warmest in Italy. The moderate current often brings the pelagics in, rewarding divers who plan around slack water.
