Punta Mesco

Site Overview

Punta Mesco sits at the northern tip of the Cinque Terre, where a rocky wall drops into clear Ligurian water rich with life. Schools of salema shimmer over the rock, groupers lurk in the crevices and barracuda occasionally cruise the blue, while red gorgonians and morays decorate the wall. Sheltered and scenic, it is a satisfying intermediate dive that combines the beauty of the Cinque Terre above water with healthy Mediterranean reef below. It is a favourite day trip for divers based along the riviera.
