Secca di Ieranto

Site Overview

The Secca di Ieranto sits at the entrance to the beautiful Ieranto Bay on the Amalfi Coast, a steep wall dropping into clear Tyrrhenian water. Groupers and amberjack patrol the blue, red gorgonians and morays decorate the rock, and the sheltered position makes it a reliable dive. It is one of the Amalfi’s signature sites, combining dramatic scenery with healthy reef life and easy access from the shore or a short boat ride. Divers of intermediate level will find it both beautiful and forgiving.
