The Wall of Torbole

Site Overview

The Wall of Torbole is a vertical freshwater drop-off on the north shore of Lake Garda, one of the most dramatic wall dives in the Italian lakes. Sponges, crayfish, pike and perch inhabit the granite face, and the mountain backdrop makes every descent spectacular. The clear alpine water and the easy access from Torbole keep it a favourite, though the altitude demands careful dive planning. It is a satisfying intermediate dive that combines scenery with the novelty of altitude freshwater diving.
