Site Overview

Tateyama Sakushima Wreck is a purpose sunk artificial reef dive site located off the southern tip of the Boso Peninsula near Tateyama featuring a forty metre coastal freighter resting upright on a sandy bottom at twenty eight metres depth. The wreck has become a thriving artificial reef ecosystem colonised by soft corals anemones and sponges that attract dense aggregations of reef fish including schooling snapper amberjack and seasonal sunfish visits during summer months.
