Site Overview

Yonehara Beach Reef is a classic tropical shore dive on Ishigaki Island featuring pristine coral gardens accessible directly from a beautiful white sand beach. The reef extends from three to fifteen metres depth with extensive staghorn coral thickets table corals and brain corals covering the substrate in crystal clear waters. The beach entry provides a gentle transition from sand to reef allowing beginners to build confidence in shallow water before exploring the deeper coral formations.
