    Site Overview

Ghar Lapsi is a large natural rock pool and swim-through cave on the south coast, with depths from 5 to 20 m and a stunning outer reef of walls and schooling fish. Glassfish shimmer in the cave, lobsters and morays hide in the rocks, and the clear, sheltered water makes it excellent for macro photography and training. It is one of the easiest and most rewarding shore dives on Malta’s south. The site rewards careful planning, good buoyancy and a respect for Malta’s marine-protection rules, and remains a favourite among Mediterranean divers.
