    Site Overview

L’Ahrax Point is a gentle sloping reef on the Marfa Ridge, formed by large boulders and sandy patches rich in macro life. Nudibranchs, pipefish and octopus hide among the rocks, making it excellent for training, photography and night dives. Its sheltered aspect and easy access from the north coast make it a dependable site when wind affects other Malta locations. The site rewards careful planning, good buoyancy and a respect for Malta’s marine-protection rules, and remains a favourite among Mediterranean divers. Dive Briefing

"Enter from the shore and descend along the sloping boulders, controlling buoyancy over the bottom. Search the rocks for nudibranchs and pipefish, then ascend with a safety stop. A night dive with a torch reveals far more critters. Follow your guide closely, monitor your thermal comfort and complete a safety stop before exiting at the designated point.
