Roca Partida is arguably the most iconic dive site in all of Mexico and one of the premier pelagic diving destinations on Earth, featuring a sheer volcanic pinnacle rising 100 metres from the deep Pacific Ocean that serves as a cleaning station and gathering point for massive schools of jacks, silky sharks, Galápagos sharks, giant Pacific manta rays, and whale sharks in an unmatched open-ocean setting. The pinnacle, just 100 metres long and barely breaking the surface, attracts an extraordinary concentration of marine life from the vast surrounding ocean creating a living wall of silver jacks that encircles the rock in numbers exceeding tens of thousands.
