Where to Stay in Ngemelis & Western Barrier Reef

Most divers base themselves in Koror or Malakal and commute by day boat, which keeps logistics simple and gives access to the widest choice of restaurants and hotels. Liveaboard divers sleep aboard and spend multiple days on the barrier reef. For a quieter stay, a few boutique resorts on the outer islands offer direct access to the western walls, though these book out far in advance during the dry season. Budget, mid-range, and luxury rooms are all easy to find within a short transfer of the dive harbours, and most include gear storage and early breakfast for divers.
