Site Overview

Cyrene Reef is one of Other Southern Islands & Patch Reefs's most rewarding dive sites, offering a vast submerged patch reef in port waters with sea stars, sand dollars, seahorses, pipefish, and giant clams at certain tides with very strong currents. The site's healthy marine ecosystem supports diverse fish populations and vibrant coral formations throughout the diving season, creating an underwater landscape that rewards repeated exploration. With consistent water temperatures of 27 to 30 degrees Celsius and visibility ranging from 3 to 10 metres depending on conditions, Cyrene Reef provides excellent conditions for underwater exploration and macro photography across all certification levels.
