Site Overview

Bajo de la Bota is a seamount in the Ibiza-Formentera channel, a current-swept pinnacle where tuna, eagle rays and the occasional manta gather over gorgonian-covered rock. Advanced divers drift along the summit at 18-40 m, rewarded by some of the region’s best pelagic action in clear water. The strong current and depth make it a serious but thrilling dive, and the healthy reserve keeps the reef vibrant. Bajo de la Bota is a highlight for experienced Balearic divers.
