The Cermona II is an 80 m freighter scuttled off Las Palmas in 2002, resting upright and intact at 18-30 m as one of Gran Canaria’s best wreck dives. Large resident groupers patrol the deck, barracuda school in the blue and moray eels hide in the openings, while the hull is encrusted with marine growth. Its upright structure is easy to circle and suitable for guided penetration, and the clear water makes it photogenic. The Cermona II is a reliable, fish-filled wreck for Advanced divers.
