Delfin Verde Wreck – Balearic Islands – Mallorca
Site Overview
The Delfin Verde is a scuttled cargo vessel at 20-30 m off Alcúdia in north Mallorca, its large hull now home to huge schools of barracuda, resident groupers and even the occasional batfish. Fully penetrable with training, it is one of the island’s most popular wreck dives, with easy boat access and reliable fish life. The structure is intact and photogenic, and the surrounding sand adds rays and garden eels. The Delfin Verde is a rewarding Advanced wreck dive. The site rewards careful planning, good buoyancy and respect for Spain’s marine-protection rules, and remains a favourite among divers who value dramatic volcanic or Mediterranean scenery, historic wrecks and rich marine life across a long, varied season.
