Site Overview

El Cabrón is Gran Canaria’s most celebrated dive, a marine reserve at Arinaga with a dramatic volcanic seascape of caves, tunnels, arches and a submerged reef. Massive schools of barracuda swirl over the pinnacles, while groupers, angel sharks, rays, seahorses and cuttlefish fill the rocky nooks, and nudibranchs reward macro hunters. Sections such as the Cueva de los Camarones, the Arco and the Punta de la Monja offer variety for all levels reached from shore. Clear Atlantic water and year-round life make El Cabrón a Canary classic.
