Site Overview

Tabarca is a small island marine reserve off Santa Pola, whose shallow Posidonia meadows and rocky slopes hold large seabream, groupers, octopus and seahorses in calm, clear water. Ideal for training, macro and night dives, the reserve protects one of the Costa Blanca’s richest shallow ecosystems. Beginners explore the gentle meadows while more experienced divers find groupers on the deeper reefs. Tabarca is a relaxing, productive introduction to Mediterranean reserve diving.
