"Enter the water from the designated quarry platform and descend along the wall face at eight to fifteen meters where limestone formations create interesting underwater geological features. Rainbow trout patrol the open water while largemouth bass inhabit the rocky ledges and submerged structures. The quarry floor supports crayfish colonies and freshwater mussels creating interesting benthic communities in the clear water. Explore the shallower areas above eight meters where sunfish school among the rocky formations providing excellent subjects for underwater photography. The quarry walls provide excellent orientation with clear geological layers visible in the exposed limestone surfaces. The deeper areas beyond fifteen meters reveal the quarry floor with submerged equipment, rock piles, and artificial features placed by the diving community to create interesting navigation exercises and search-and-recovery training scenarios. The thermocline at approximately twelve meters creates a visible temperature boundary where the colder deep water meets the warmer surface layer affecting fish distribution and diving conditions."
