"Enter the water from the designated spring entrance and descend into the crystal-clear spring where visibility exceeds thirty meters revealing the limestone cave entrance illuminated by natural light. Cavern divers remain within the light zone exploring the dramatic entrance area where sunlight creates blue-green light rays penetrating the clear water. Cave-certified divers can penetrate the main passage following the permanent guideline through increasingly dark passages where powerful lights illuminate pristine limestone formations. The spring run outside the cave supports freshwater turtles basking on logs and diverse fish communities in the tannic water. Return to the entrance following the guideline and natural light observing the transition from dark cave to illuminated spring. The spring run downstream from the cave entrance supports freshwater turtles sunning on logs and diverse fish communities in the tannic-stained water creating a completely different ecosystem from the crystal-clear cave environment. The transition zone where clear spring water meets tannic river water creates visible mixing lines and interesting ecological boundaries that support species from both environments."
