Scuba Diving Regions in Antigua and Barbuda
From world-class walls to muck diving havens, discover the unique character of each regional cluster.
Regional Diversity
Diving in Antigua and Barbuda is possible year-round, with the best conditions generally found from December to May during the dry season. During this time, the trade winds are steady, and visibility is at its peak. The summer months (June to November) bring warmer water and more humid weather, which is also the peak period for the Atlantic hurricane season. However, many of the best dive sites are sheltered on the leeward side of the islands, allowing for good conditions even during the summer. Water temperatures are consistently warm, ranging from 26°C in winter to 29°C in summer.
Planning Tips
Many regions are seasonally dependent. For Antigua and Barbuda, the best diving conditions are usually spread across different months depending on the archipelago or coast.
