Scuba Diving Regions in Bermuda
From world-class walls to muck diving havens, discover the unique character of each regional cluster.
Regional Diversity
The primary diving season in Bermuda runs from May through October, when the Atlantic waters are at their warmest and the sea conditions are generally calmest. During these peak summer months, water temperatures reach a balmy 28°C, and visibility is consistently superb. However, Bermuda offers unique opportunities year-round. March and April are particularly special as they mark the migration of humpback whales through the area. While the water is cooler in the winter (around 18-20°C), the clarity is often at its absolute peak, and many of the island's most famous wrecks can be explored with very few other divers around.
Planning Tips
Many regions are seasonally dependent. For Bermuda, the best diving conditions are usually spread across different months depending on the archipelago or coast.
