About Koh Rong & Koh Rong Samloem

Koh Rong and Koh Rong Samloem are Cambodia's premier island diving destinations, offering ten distinct dive sites across both islands with exceptional variety from macro slopes to deep walls. Koh Rong Samloem is the diving highlight, featuring Nudibranch Heaven — Cambodia's premier macro site with countless nudibranch species — alongside Cobia Point for pelagic encounters with barracuda and cobia, and Shark Island for reliable whitetip reef shark sightings. Mellow Point delivers the deepest diving in the region at 18 to 30 metres with giant grouper and occasional eagle rays on a dramatic wall drop-off. Lazy Beach and Sunset Beach provide calm bay diving with seahorses, turtles, and pipefish. Koh Rong complements with Long Set Beach for training, Coral Garden with healthy table coral formations, The Caves with dramatic swim-through caverns, and Koh Toch with sheltered patch reefs. The islands are reached by 2-hour ferry from Sihanoukville and offer a tropical island experience with world-class diving. Water temperatures remain warm at 26 to 31 degrees Celsius with visibility ranging from 5 to 25 metres depending on the site.
