Regional Diversity
Diving in Colombia is excellent year-round, but the best time depends on the coast. The Caribbean (San Andrés & Providencia) is best from March to September for the calmest seas. The Pacific coast (Malpelo & Gorgona) is best from June to October for the warmest water and humpback whale season. Hammerhead sightings in Malpelo peak from January to March, though the water is cooler then.
