Site Overview

Trogir - Krknjasi (Blue Lagoon) is a lagoon dive site in Central Dalmatia - Sibenik, Split & Islands, Croatia, set in the clear, fish-rich waters of the Adriatic Sea. The Krknjaši Blue Lagoon is a shallow, turquoise bay near Trogir, ideal for training and night dives. Stingrays and cuttlefish are regular inhabitants of the sandy bottom. The calm, clear water makes it perfect for courses and relaxed fun dives. Visibility is usually good, and the site is convenient close to Trogir and Split. It is a gentle, family-friendly dive. It is a favourite for night dives and underwater photography. Conditions are typical of the Croatian coast: visibility generally runs from 12 to 30 metres, the current is low and the water temperature ranges between 15 and 26 degrees Celsius depending on season and depth. The marine life is classic Adriatic, centred on common stingray, common cuttlefish, two-banded seabream, with the full community described below for those planning a dive.
