Scuba Diving Regions in Curaçao

From world-class walls to muck diving havens, discover the unique character of each regional cluster.

    Regional Diversity

Diving in Curaçao is excellent year-round, thanks to its tropical climate and fortunate location outside the main Atlantic hurricane belt. The peak diving season is traditionally from mid-December to April during the dry season, when the weather is sunny and the trade winds are at their most consistent. During these months, the sea is generally calm and visibility is at its absolute peak. The summer and autumn months (May to November) bring slightly warmer water temperatures, reaching a balmy 29°C. While this is the wetter season, rainfall often occurs in short tropical bursts followed by sunshine. For many, the months of September and October are special due to the annual coral spawning event, a magical natural spectacle. Sea temperatures range from a comfortable 26°C in February to 29°C in September, making a 3mm shorty or full suit appropriate throughout the year.
