    About Larnaca (South-East)

Larnaca sits on the southeast coast of Cyprus and is the undisputed wreck-diving capital of the island, home to the legendary MS Zenobia, one of the top ten wreck dives on the planet. The region pairs that headline wreck with a varied menu of reefs, artificial structures and gentle shore dives, making it equally attractive to technical divers and to complete beginners. The coastline is low and sheltered, with easy boat access from Larnaca marina and a string of sandy beaches that double as training sites. Visibility in the calm Levantine waters regularly exceeds 30 metres, and the water stays warm well into late autumn. Beyond the Zenobia, divers explore the Pyla and Larnaca Bay artificial reefs, the rocky Dhekelia reef and the seagrass beds of Makenzy Beach, where seahorses and cuttlefish reward a slow, observant dive. Larnaca is also the most convenient base on the island, with an international airport minutes from the water and a mature, professional dive infrastructure.
