Regional Diversity
Diving in Ecuador and the Galápagos is excellent year-round, but there are two distinct seasons. The 'Warm Season' from December to May offers calmer seas, warmer water (22°C-28°C), and the best manta ray sightings. The 'Cool Season' from June to November brings the nutrient-rich Humboldt Current, attracting more whale sharks and hammerheads, though the water is cooler (16°C-22°C) and seas can be rougher.
