Scuba Diving Regions in Egypt

Comprehensive guide to all diving regions across Egypt

    Overview

Diving in Egypt is exceptional year-round. The best visibility and warmest waters (26-30°C) occur from June to September. However, the 'cool' season (March to May and September to November) is often preferred for more comfortable air temperatures and is peak time for seeing Hammerhead sharks and Manta rays. Winter (December to February) can be windy and cooler (21-23°C) but offers the quietest reefs.
