Site Overview

The Secca di Spargiotto is the jewel of the La Maddalena Archipelago, a granite pinnacle rising from depth into the legendary clear water of Sardinia. Massive groupers, barracuda, amberjack and the occasional eagle ray make it one of the richest dives in the Mediterranean. The moderate current often brings the pelagics in, rewarding divers who plan around slack water. It is a bucket-list site and a favourite for photographers, combining dramatic scenery with staggering biodiversity in a strictly protected park.
