    Site Overview

The Alexandra is a 55 m patrol boat scuttled as an artificial reef off Comino in 2006, resting intact and penetrable at 18-28 m. Groupers, barracuda and lionfish now colonise the structure, and its shallow depth and easy access make it a popular Comino wreck for open-water and intermediate divers. It is a reliable, photogenic dive on a Comino day trip. The site rewards careful planning, good buoyancy and a respect for Malta’s marine-protection rules, and remains a favourite among Mediterranean divers.
