Scuba Diving Regions in Mozambique

From world-class walls to muck diving havens, discover the unique character of each regional cluster.

    Regional Diversity

Diving in Mozambique is excellent year-round, but the best visibility and calmest seas are typically found between May and September. During this time, the weather is cooler and drier. June to October is the peak time for Humpback Whales. Whale sharks and Mantas are seen throughout the year, but sightings often peak in the summer months (November to April), though this period is hotter and more humid.

Many regions are seasonally dependent. For Mozambique, the best diving conditions are usually spread across different months depending on the archipelago or coast.
