Scuba Diving Regions in Sao Tome and Principe

From world-class walls to muck diving havens, discover the unique character of each regional cluster.

    Regional Diversity

The best time for diving in Sao Tome and Principe is during the dry season, known as 'Gravana', from June to August, and the transitional months of September and October. During this time, the seas are calmest and visibility is at its peak (up to 30 meters). Diving is possible year-round, though the rainy season (October to May) can bring more variable surface conditions and reduced visibility near river mouths.
