The Embalse de la Almendra is a deep reservoir in Salamanca, reaching around 45 m and favoured for technical freshwater dives in clear, cold water. Advanced divers explore the deep walls and drop-offs, meeting carp and crayfish and practising depth and altitude skills away from the sea.
