Site Overview

Punta de la Rasca is a deep-water pinnacle off Tenerife’s southern tip where the seabed rises from great depth to around 18 m. It is a magnet for pelagic life, with schools of amberjack, tuna and barracuda, and the chance of manta rays and even whale sharks in the right season. Advanced divers drop to 30-45 m to meet the current and the big fish, making it one of the island’s most exciting blue-water dives. Clear Atlantic water and seasonal aggregations keep Punta de la Rasca on the wish list for experienced divers.
