About Likiep & Wotje Atolls

Likiep and Wotje are remote northern atolls in the Ratak chain, visited only by occasional liveaboard and a handful of adventure divers each year. Likiep Wall drops into crystal-clear water over pristine coral, with grey reef sharks, turtles and the possible manta ray, while Wotje holds several Japanese ships and planes from the 1940s, now shallow, coral-encrusted debris rich in fish life. Both atolls offer a sense of true exploration, with minimal infrastructure, traditional island life and reefs that see almost no dive pressure. Reached by Air Marshall Islands flights or a northern-atoll expedition liveaboard, Likiep and Wotje are for self-sufficient divers chasing untouched Pacific walls and WWII history.

Getting There
