Scuba Diving Regions in The Turks And Caicos Islands

From world-class walls to muck diving havens, discover the unique character of each regional cluster.

    Regional Diversity

Diving in the Turks and Caicos Islands is exceptional year-round, with horizontal visibility and sea conditions remaining remarkably consistent. The peak diving season is traditionally from December to May during the dry season, when the horizontal visibility is at its absolute maximum and the weather is sunny and pleasant. This is also the prime time for Humpback Whale encounters (January to April). The summer and autumn months (June to November) bring slightly warmer water temperatures, reaching up to 29°C, and often very calm winds, though this period also coincides with the Atlantic hurricane season. For many, the shoulder months of November and May offer the perfect combination of great conditions and fewer visitors. Water temperatures range from a comfortable 24°C in February to 29°C in September, making a 3mm to 5mm wetsuit appropriate depending on the season.
