    Regional Diversity

Diving in the United States Virgin Islands is a fantastic year-round experience, with consistent tropical temperatures and excellent horizontal visibility. The peak diving season is traditionally from December to May during the dry season, when horizontal visibility is at its absolute maximum and the sea conditions are generally at their calmest. The summer and autumn months (June to November) bring warmer water temperatures, reaching up to 29°C, and often very calm winds, though this period also coincides with the Atlantic hurricane season. For many, the shoulder months of November and May offer the perfect combination of great conditions and fewer visitors. Water temperatures range from a comfortable 26°C in February to 29°C in September, making a 3mm shorty or full suit appropriate throughout the year.
