Scuba Diving Regions in Turkey
From world-class walls to muck diving havens, discover the unique character of each regional cluster.
Regional Diversity
The main diving season in Turkey runs from May to October. During these months, the air is hot and the sea temperature is most comfortable, ranging from 18°C to 26°C. July and August are the peak summer months with the warmest water, while June and September offer the best balance of excellent weather and fewer crowds. Diving is possible year-round in the south, though many dive shops close during the winter months.
Planning Tips
Many regions are seasonally dependent. For Turkey, the best diving conditions are usually spread across different months depending on the archipelago or coast.
