Where to Stay in Futuna & Alofi - Volcanic Walls & Seamounts

Accommodation on Futuna is extremely basic, limited to a few family guesthouses and small lodges around Leava and the villages. There are no hotels in the international sense and certainly no dive resorts, so divers arrange private stays and self-catered boat logistics. Expect simple rooms, shared bathrooms and hearty home cooking; book directly and well in advance. Because the walls are reached only by private boat, most visitors stay close to Leava or Vele and treat the vessel or guesthouse as their base for an exploratory program built entirely around the weather and the tide.
