Scuba Diving Regions in Brazil
From world-class walls to muck diving havens, discover the unique character of each regional cluster.
Regional Diversity
Diving in Brazil is excellent year-round, but the best time depends on the region. For Fernando de Noronha, September and October offer the calmest seas and visibility of 50+ meters. Recife is best from October to March. For Abrolhos, the humpback whale season is from July to November. The southern mainland sites like Arraial do Cabo are best in the summer months (December to March) for the warmest water.
Planning Tips
Many regions are seasonally dependent. For Brazil, the best diving conditions are usually spread across different months depending on the archipelago or coast.
